Did you experience Women of Faith this year?
It was a Grand New Day at the Honda Center in Anaheim on September 11th & 12th. Among thousands of women (and a few men) about 50 women from Seaside attended the two-day event.
There was music:
We had lunch:
And the speakers were amazing:
This little firecracker of a woman called Patsy Clairmont…
From “Facts of Life” Lisa Welchel…
and funny lady Anita Renfroe…just to name a few.
(check out the gallery pictures for a great picture of Maryann Glimpse & Anita)
Were you there? Want to share your experience? Leave a note on the blog!
And don’t forget to stay connected to Women of Faith through their website, blog and newsletters…there are tons of book suggestions and even gift ideas on their site, not to mention of wonderful words of encouragement and stories of faith and grace.
More ways to stay connected Beyond Sunday Morning.
Go to the Shutterfly page for all of the pictures from Women of Faith.
O taste and see that the LORD is good! Psalm 34:8
Grab your favorite coffee cup and a cozy sweater…Come on!
REFUELED is a quarterly gathering of Seaside Women; the perfect connecting point to take us Beyond Sunday Morning. There are many women new to our church family and many who have been attending Seaside for years; some are in small groups and some aren’t.
Women need women, no matter how you cut it – we want to make sure that each woman finds her place here with us and that she feels loved and that she’s a vital part of our family.
It’s our hope that at this REFUELED, every woman will learn more about what’s available in our church to refuel her spirit on any given day.
This is a casual event, perfect for a Saturday morning with the girls.
You are welcome to bring someone along.
And if you want to, bring a treat to share!!
Join us at the home of Sunshine Fawcett

For about two years now, every few months, the women of Seaside Community Church have gathered on Saturday mornings for what we have called Coffee Talk. We have some time of fellowship and worship, we have had speakers, heard testimonies, prepared for retreats and shared ideas for upcoming events.
This summer we introduced REFUELED. After some thought and prayer, we felt that the new name better captured our goal for the time that we have together on these Saturday mornings. Our desire is to bring the feeling of church Beyond Sunday Morning. On July 18th Patti Killian opened up her beautiful home for the first REFUELED.
The lovely hostess, Patti Killian.
There were coffee and some treats, of course.
And a bit of laughter…and some great fellowship.
For all of the pictures, please check out our Shutterfly page
And make sure to join us for the next REFUELED:
There will be a Women’s Ministry Planning Meeting held on Saturday August 1st from 9-11am at the home of Karen Nelson. We will be talking about what’s on the calendar for the rest of the summer and look ahead to the fall. For more info email Keri@seasidewomen.org

PLEASE get in touch with either Yvette Jacobson or Keri Welch via info@seasidewomen.org to help us organize our lists and make this conference a wonderful Beyond Sunday Morning experience for Seaside Women.
